Accessing Email using the BlueLight Internet Companion

When the BlueLight Internet Companion appears, you will see the Inbox and Write buttons.

Write Button - Click the Write button to compose a new message via your configured email program (such as BlueLight Internet Email on the Web or Outlook Express).

By default, the Inbox and Write buttons are set to launch Email on the Web. If you want to configure the Inbox and Write buttons to use Outlook Express, do the following:

  2. Double-click the BlueLight Internet icon on your desktop.
  3. On the Welcome screen, click Settings.
  1. On the Welcome to BlueLight Internet Setup screen, click Email.
  1. On the How do you want to get your Email screen, click the circle next to Outlook Express and click Finish.
  1. A confirmation window will appear. If you are sure you want to configure your BlueLight Internet email program to be Outlook Express, click Yes.
  1. If there are no problems, a message will appear saying that your BlueLight Internet email has been set up for Outlook Express. Click OK.
  1. You will return to the Welcome screen.
  1. Click Connect to get online. Once you are online, you can click the Inbox and Write buttons to access your email through Outlook Express.
