Search Engines

One of the great things about the Web is that you can search for (and find) almost anything. You'd be amazed at some of the stuff you can find if you look hard enough.

The quickest way to search for things while using BlueLight Internet is to use the BlueLight Internet Companion's Search feature. Click on Search to look for anything on the Web by using keywords.

For more information about using the BlueLight Internet Companion Search feature, please click here.

Keywords are phrases used to simplify your search. For example, if you were looking for trucks, you could type in keywords such as trucks, Chevrolet, GMC or 4x4 off road. These keywords would then be used to find what you were looking for.

Web sites that provide Web search functions are called Search Engines. Just like choosing a browser, choosing a search engine is purely a matter of taste. Some search engines are more helpful than others, however. Choose wisely to make the most of your online time. Remember, if you don't find what you're looking for using one search engine, you can always try using another.
