I cannot receive email. Try the following troubleshooting steps if you're having trouble receiving emails: - Are you logged on?
Double-check to be sure you are currently connected to the Internet before trying to receive your emails by trying to open a Web page.
- Try to Receive messages
- Open Windows Mail.
- Find the Send and Receive button on the top menu and click it.
If there's a problem with receiving mail, you will see an error message. If you need to provide your Account Name and Password, you will be prompted.
- Verify that Windows Mail is properly configured for your BlueLight Internet account.
- Open Windows Mail.
- Click on Tools and select Accounts.
- Click on Properties under the Mail section.
- Click on the Servers tab. Confirm that both the POP and SMTP settings are correct
POP: pop.mybluelight.com SMTP: smtp.mybluelight.com
- Re-enter your account name and password, and make sure the Remember my password box is checked.
- Click OK then click Close to save your settings.
Try receiving mail again.
