Does Email on the Web have a built-in Spam Blocker? Yes. Email on the Web has built-in protection against unsolicited spam email. This spam-blocker works on our server to prevent these unwanted messages from reaching your inbox. However, no anti-spam software is foolproof, so if you are getting spam or other unwanted email, you can report it as junk. Every message you report as junk is added to the spam blocker. You can report an email as junk in two ways: Report as Junk from your Inbox If you see a message in your inbox that you know is spam: - Check the box next to it then click the Report Junk button.
- This will open the Report Junk Mail screen. Select whether you want to send the message to the Junk Mail or Trash folder, and click on the Confirm button.
- If you want to add the originating email address to your Block List, check the box next to Add these addresses to my block list before clicking on Confirm.
Report as Junk from within the message If you open an email only to discover it is spam: - Click on the Report Junk button.
- This will open the Report Junk Mail screen. Select whether you want to send the message to the Junk Mail or Trash folder, and click on the Confirm button.
- If you want to add the originating email address to your Block List, check the box next to Add these addresses to my block list before clicking on Confirm.
