Setting Up Your Droid / Android™ - Tap the Menu or Home icon on the phone.
- Tap the Settings icon, and select Accounts.
- Tap Add Account, then select Email.
- Type your BlueLight Internet email address and password and tap Next.
- Now tap on Manual setup.
- Under Account type select POP3 as the server type.
- Incoming server settings screen will be displayed.
- Type: pop.BlueLight Internet.com for POP3 and for Port Number type: 995.
- Select SSL for Security type.
- Select Never for Delete email from server.
- Tap on Next.
- Outgoing server settings screen will be displayed.
- Type: smtp.BlueLight Internet.com and for Port Number type: 465
- Select SSL for Security type.
- Select the Require Sign-in checkbox.
- Choose how frequently you'd like to check your email and tap Next.
- Once the account is set up you will get a message Your account is set up, and email is on its way!
- Type the name that you want to be displayed for outgoing message under "Your name(displayed on outgoing messages)".
- Tap Done.
- Wait for email to sync. Once it is completed, the email will be set up.
Note: Depending on the version, model, or manufacturer of your smartphone the steps to setting up email may be slightly different than shown on this page. If you are unable to set up your email using these instructions, please refer to your phone's user manual or contact your cellular provider.
