Common Connection Errors / Solutions

You have exceeded the timeframe to download the full version of the BlueLight Internet software

If you're receiving this error message, there may be a problem with the automatic update program that runs in the background during your BlueLight Internet session.

To fix this problem, you can either attempt to manually install the full version of BlueLight Internet (which should already be on your computer) or uninstall and reinstall the two-minute download version of the BlueLight Internet software. This can happen when the required files have been downloaded and are ready to be installed

  1. Manually install the full version of BlueLight Internet

    1. Click on the Windows Start button, point to Find (or Search) and select Files or Folders.
    2. In the Named field, type BLQSSetup.exe
    3. Ensure that the Look in field indicates My Computer.
    4. Click on the Find now button.
    5. You may find more than one BLQSSetup.exe file. Look for the BLQSSetup.exe found in the staging subfolder of your BlueLight Internet directory (usually C:\Program Files\BlueLight Internet). Double-click this file to run the installation program.
