How do I turn a picture into an attachment?

If you have a picture or a photograph that you want to send someone, you will need to scan and then save the image as a file on your computer. You can then attach the scanned image as a file to your message. Consult your scanner's user manual to find out how to save images as files.

You can also send pictures you see on Web pages as attachments. First, you have to save the image to your computer, then attach the saved image to your email message.

To send an image on a Web page as an attachment:

  1. Right-click the image and click Save Picture As on the shortcut menu.
  2. On the Save Picture screen, click the Save in arrow to select where you want to save the picture.
  3. In the File name box, type the name of the picture and then click Save.
  4. Start Juno if it is not open and click the Write tab.
  5. On the Write screen, click Attach File.
  6. The Attach File screen will appear. Click the Look in arrow to locate and select the picture you saved and click Attach.
  7. When you are ready to send the message, click Send Mail.

Note: Earlier version of the Juno software may ask you to Save Image As rather than Save Picture As.
