Error - Juno was unable to download access number list (Juno 5.0)

Typically, this error message indicates that your modem is not set up properly to work with Juno. Review your modem configuration and make sure it is set up properly and then try again.

Also, keep in mind that the toll-free 800 number your modem dials to get the access number list receives a very high-volume of calls. If you are sure that your modem is configured properly, please try connecting to the number at various times of the day over several days.

To review your modem configuration in Juno 3.0 or later:

  1. Go to the Connection menu, and select Configure Modem.
  2. The Configure Modem screen will appear. Click Manage Modems.
  3. On the Modems Properties screen, select the modem you use to connect to Juno and click Properties.
  4. Review your modem's setting and make sure they are correct.

To review your modem configuration in Juno 2.0:

  1. Go to the Connection menu and select Modem Setup.
  2. Click Automatic Modem Setup to have Juno set up your modem automatically, or click Manual Modem Setup to set up your modem yourself.
