Launching Juno when you click email addresses links on Web pages (Juno 4.0 and 5.0) When you click on an email address link on a World Wide Web site, the Juno Write screen will appear with the email address automatically entered in the Send To box if you set Juno as your default mail reader. You can set this up when you first install Juno, or you can set it up afterwards by going to the Options menu and selecting Email Options. Check or uncheck the box next to Run Juno when I use the email features of my Web browser by clicking inside it. If you experience one of the problems below with this feature, click on the problem description to learn how to resolve it.
Juno does not run when you use the email features of your Web browser If you set up your Email Options to run Juno when you use the email features of your Web browser but another email program appears, the Web browser may be set up to use another mailer (overriding the default setting). To change this in Internet Explorer 4.0 or higher: - Start Internet Explorer.
- Go to the View menu and select Internet Options.
- Click the Programs tab.
- In the Mail box, select Juno from the drop-down list.
- Click OK to save your changes.
Juno runs when you use your browser's email features even though you turned this option off If you do not have a default mail program in Windows, programs will continue to use the last mail program that was set as the default-in this case, Juno. To change this in Internet Explorer 4.0 or higher: - Start Internet Explorer.
- Go to the View menu and select Internet Options.
- Click the Programs tab.
- In the Mail box, select the program you'd like to use from the drop-down list.
- Click OK to save your changes.
