Connect to the Web with Internet Explorer (Juno 4.0 and 5.0)

With Juno 4.0 and 5.0, you can set up Juno Platinum to connect to the World Wide Web when you double-click on your Web browser. Please note that this feature only works for Windows 95 and Windows 98 and for Internet Explorer 4.0 and higher; it does not work for Windows NT or for Netscape Navigator.

To set up the connection:

  1. Open Internet Explorer.
  2. Go to the View menu and select Internet Options.
  3. Click the Connection tab.
  4. Select Connect to the Internet using a modem, then click Settings.
  5. Where the screen says Use the following Dial-Up Networking connection, select Juno Platinum from the drop-down list.
  6. Type your Juno email address (without @mybluelight.com) in the User box.
  7. Type your Juno password in the Password box.
  8. Click OK and close Internet Explorer.
  9. The next time you want to connect to the Web, double-click the browser icon.

Note: If you change your password in Juno, you will need to change it separately in Internet Explorer as well.
